Our Core Online Program
Sacred Window’s Ayurvedic Postpartum Mentorship program teaches you how care for postpartum mothers and their newborns using Ayurveda. It provides Ayurvedic methods for postpartum care and nutrition that have been around for thousands of years, yet largely lost to modern care models. It is facilitated by Sacred Window mentors who are professional Ayurvedic birthworkers.
This course is intended for birth care professionals who want an overview of Ayurvedic postpartum care and wish to receive a diploma for their coursework. The core program includes approximately 40 lecture hours, 23 practicum hours, and 10 mentoring hours for a minimum of 73 hours of credit.

New Pre-requisite for our Program
Beginning on May 25, 2017, our online Ayurvedic Postpartum Mentorship program will have a new pre-requisite:
We will require all students to first obtain certification as a conventional Postpartum Doula before starting our program.
By taking our online courses, and completing all tests, practicums, homework, and internships with your Mentor, you will receive a diploma designating you as a Ayurvedic Postpartum Specialist.
Ayurvedic Postpartum Specialists build on their conventional doula training, by gaining new Ayurvedic expertise and tools to offer the newly delivered mother, including delicious and natural ways to improve lactation and rest, uplift mood, support postpartum recovery, and ensure happy baby tummies.
This training will greatly enhance your postpartum doula skills and services, giving you a professional boost and higher earning power.
Please note: This training is the same as our current “Ayudoula” Training. As of May 25, 2017 we will not longer use the titles “Ayudoula” or “Ayurdoula” for students who complete our program. Instead, all graduates will receive the title, Ayurvedic Postpartum Specialist.
